ITC-Egypt'2024 - National Competition for Creative Sustainable Ideas (NCCSI) project competition. In keeping with Egypt's 2030 goal for sustainable development, which aims to foster innovative thinking among its citizens.

1- Institutes, Colleges, and Universities (Government – National – Private Technological) students.
2- Graduates.
3- Postgraduate Students.
4- Secondary Schools (Government – STEM – Private – Technological).

Projects competition timeline

1st
First Stage
1st MAY 2024
• The first stage Deadline, Project File Collection (Proposal and Video)
• The starting of Registration and Proposal Submission (Proposal Download is now open). This comprehensive proposal provides crucial details about the competition structure, guidelines, and evaluation criteria. It is designed to equip you with the necessary knowledge and insights to navigate this competition effectively. We strongly encourage all participants to thoroughly review the proposal to ensure a competitive edge.

• Proposal Submission and Project Overview. After carefully filling out the downloaded proposal, you are required to upload it along with a concise video presentation. This video, no longer than 5 minutes, should provide a succinct overview of your project. This stage is crucial as it offers the first impression of your work to the judges. Ensure your proposal is thorough and your video effectively encapsulates the essence of your project.
Second Stage

• Upon successful acceptance in the first stage, the passes projects will introduce a second video that contains answers to the reviewers' comments and exhibits the final project results. May reviewers need a Zoom meeting with you.

CONFIRMING THE PAYMENT FOR THE COMPETITION
• you are required to upload a receipt confirming the payment of the competition entry fees

Final Stage

FINAL ACCEPTANCE
• Final project acceptance notification after uploading a receipt confirming the payment of the competition entry fees before this date. Upon successful verification of the receipt, you will receive an email notification confirming your acceptance into the competition All active participants in the competition will receive a digital certificate

PROJECT REGISTRATION ASSISTANCE

The participating students could attend all the conference activities, free of charge. Interested undergraduate engineering students are requested to fill in the included registration form and upload the project proposal to the ITC-Egypt'2024 conference

Registration Instructions

  1. Fees will be paid after the final acceptance of the submitted project.
  2. One registration covers only one project.
  3. The registration fees, according to the showed rates, will cover the following:
    • Presenting the project.
    • Admission to all ITC-2024 scientific sessions.
    • Having breakfast, Lunch, and coffee breaks during the conference/competition days.
  4. The registration fees do NOT INCLUDE the bank transfer fees, So when transferring the registration fees, Please pay the bank transfer fee to your bank.
  5. After sending your registration payment by bank wire transfer, scan the bank receipt and attach the PDF file in an email to: EDAS Account.
  6. Cancelation Policy
    • Registration fees are not refundable.
  7. Notice
    • Competition fees do not include accommodation and airport transfer.

Prizes

All active participants in the competition will receive a digital certificate. “Active participant” is described as a team that makes a reasonable attempt at solving a problem in the Sponsor’s sole discretion.

For Universities Students

For each participant up to 5 maximum + supervisors

Place Award
First Each participant Receive a cash reward of 10000 LE.
Second Each participant Receive a cash reward of 8000 LE.
Third Each participant Receive a cash reward of 6000 LE.

For School Students

For each participant up to 5 maximum + supervisors

For All Students
from 4th to 10th place

Each participant of the 4th through 10th place team members will receive an ITC - NCCSI merchandise bundle and special gifts from competition sponsors.

For All Students
from 11th to 100th place

All members of teams that place in the 11th – 100 at the end of the competition will receive an ITC- NCCSI merchandise bundle and special gifts from competition sponsors.
